Arikaree Ice Field, at the base of Arikaree Peak, as seen from the south chimney of Navajo Peak. This ice field, which is only about 300 feet high, may not be a glacier today, although it definetly was in the recent past. Note how the cirque headwall, which is also the Continental Divide, is penetrated (right).
